Sometimes, you just want to do it yourself. We get it. But that doesn’t mean we won’t or can’t help you! We’d still love to help you, even if you’ve booked your entire trip without us.

We can offer our professional guidance by consulting with you on any travel arrangements you’ve already booked, or plan to book. It’s that simple.

The Travel Consultation is perfect for travelers who want to book their own trips, but would like advice and suggestions on various aspects of their trip like flights, accommodations, activities, restaurants and other logistics.

Already booked your trip & want it checked over.
Plan to book all the components of your trip and want some pre-booking guidance.

Airline Ticket Service Fees

In addition to planning custom itineraries for you, we’re happy to help you arrange your flights. We use state-of-the-art airline automation systems and have four decades of corporate and leisure air travel experience.

The following service fees apply to airline tickets.

Domestic one-way or roundtrip tickets (within U.S.) – $35 per ticket.

Domestic circle trip or multi-segment tickets (within U.S.) – Starting at $50 per ticket.

Domestic ticket reissues – Starting at $50 per ticket.

International tickets (with tour/cruise/land arrangements) – Starting at $75 per ticket.

International ticket reissues (with tour/cruise/land arrangements) – Starting at $75 per ticket.

Custom Group Tickets – Starting at $50 per ticket.

The service fee on airline tickets is determined by the complexity of the itinerary that you are requesting.

Why do we charge a fee for certain travel planning services?

The planning fee allows us to concentrate 100% on you, your specific travel needs and requests. By adopting a fee-based approach to custom travel planning, we (and the work we do for you) are not driven by commission or markups of any kind. We are free to offer you the best products and services for you, without regard as to whether they are willing to work with us on a commission basis.

The fee-based approach benefits you in several ways:

1 – Your trip is tailored to you, and only you.

2 – We are travel professionals that have extensive experience researching and booking travel as well as traveling ourselves. We have valuable insight and industry contacts in virtually every aspect of the travel industry. The fee compensates us for the extensive amount of planning and research time that goes into any custom itinerary along with the professional resources that are used to plan the perfect itinerary for you.

How far in advance should I book?

If you are planning to travel during peak season for your destination, you should book as early as possible. It really depends on your destination and the type of trip you are taking. For some destinations booking 3 – 6 months in advance will be early enough. For some, we are currently booking almost a year in advance. Regardless of the destination, if you are planning to travel over a holiday period it is essential that you plan well in advance as holiday space in many destinations will sell out months in advance.

How do we get started?

It’s simple! Just choose the Request button underneath whichever custom travel planning service above that you’re interested in. It’ll take you to a short request form. Go ahead and submit that to us and we’ll be in touch with you shortly to let you know what’s next.

The “What’s Next” will vary a bit depending on which service you’re requesting from us. But they’ll all start with a brief trip questionnaire that will help us learn more about the trip that you plan to take.

Why is a credit card required on the initial request form?

This is actually a time saver for you! Ultimately, we’ll need a credit card to charge the travel planning fee to before we can begin researching your trip. Since we need to have you submit the card via a secure form, we include it on the initial request form to avoid having to ask you to fill in a second form.

But no worries! We won’t just automatically charge your card.

We will contact you first and have a brief converation and make sure that we’re a good fit for one another before we charge you anything!

Are custom travel planning fees refundable?

No. The reason we don’t charge your card immediately is to give you and us a chance to make sure that we can work well together and provide you with what you need. Once we begin researching and working on your travel plans, the fee compensates us for the time and resources that we are expending on your behalf.
